From our perspective, it's a serious risk to play 25 while Lalo's 47 is available. 26 is also the only card that breaks the straight flush of 25, so he can hold onto it for another round.

The art has really gone overdrive on facial expressions as it goes on. I really love the "death god" face that pops up with Baku periodically, great use of it here when Baku regains consciousness. Good callback to Baku's face from the beginning of the manga and early covers once he was declared the winner of the hand too.

Baku is pretty insane to bet on his own physical abilities when we know how weak his constitution is. Impressive.

Congrats as well to those that figured out the law. I don't think I would have gotten that on my own. I guess even Baku didn't grasp it initially, and Lalo seems lost.

I did notice someone bring up that the game seems pre-determined since the hands were basically set, but with the calamity rule I think timing on when to play numbers matters just as much.
