Is this gamble going to continue for 1 more volume. Because i don't see how it will go on if either one of them dies

Batch length? Also, where did that drawer go? It's not in front of the chair when Souichi goes to sit down, did Baku just move it when he stood up? If so, what's with the chapter title?

I have a feeling Kiruma is going to fail on purpose to empty the cylinder and then going for the safe strategy 5 times a row.

@299792458 From the sound effect on that panel (kind of a "clack") I'd guess that Souichi moved the chair. I'm really curious what that'll have to do with the game.

I think Leader expects that Baku is only acting somewhat desperate, and that's what the secret he is looking for refers to. He is gambling that Baku still has a monumental trick up that sleeve but cannot figure it out, but he has to to win. Maybe he will realize it at the very last instant what Baku's trick is but it will be too late.

I agree with Fukurou. Sako Toshio did a good job highlighting/defining gambling through that brief dialogue, and to me it also highlighted the meta especially present in gambling manga.

(not real spoilers; useless thoughts)
Gambling manga have to acknowledge more than other stories that due to prevalence of probability and odds, there are many 'reasonable conclusions' to write into a story. It's not like the 11 guess that Baku first tried in the Dotty game couldn't have been right, but it's up to the author to make it right or not - and the readers should be able to guess that of course it's not going to be correct, that would be too easy. It's kinda like how we all know Baku's gonna win, or at least we'd gamble on it 'cause there is a verifiable author (see: God) writing the story, and presumably, he is not gambling himself to decide plot developments (that'd be 2deep4me). If you ever wanted insight to a typical, reasonable story, you wouldn't just think "is that a reasonable development", but rather or additionally, "of all the reasonable developments that exist, why did the author pick that one?"

Underdog frail Baku fighting an uphill battle against a literal Ubermensch with a genius level intellect.

I was surprised by Fukurou, though.
