edit: Veshv covered what I wanted to say already!
I meant this was the third time - the second time was Souichi's first dream (not Baku's, I misremembered). From here https://mangadex.org/chapter/986015/11.
And I realize I worded it horribly - for some reason I said "second time" meaning the second occurrence I mentioned in my sentence, lmao. I meant the first time it appeared, during the flashback. (https://mangadex.org/chapter/713169/14)
But yeah, looking at the "first time", the blood stains were already there before the Fukurou match. The "second time" also suggests the same. As you said, the "third time" suggests that Hal came back, but that timing does seem weird since he shouldn't have had his memories, so how could he have reached Baku's place? That ghost scene is pretty weird, not sure how to interpret the timing or how it relates to the real-life events that happened. Maybe the Fukurou match didn't happen yet at that time?
