Prez is one of those characters that should be killed for everyone's safety. It might be difficult since he'll see his own corpse and be on alert, but I think I've thought of a way around that.

The solution is to blind him, but not kill him. That way, there wouldn't be a corpse for him to see. Once he's blind, you can kill him the next day, since his advantage is gone.
