I don’t think she’s the manifestation of death (although that would be cool).
But she will likely be the “Final Boss”, just because her death being prevented is what started all of this and she very clearly has a complex relationship with being alive to begin with.

I'm impressed that the author pointed out that Schrodinger's cat was brought up as an attempt to disprove quantum theory. Schrodinger's cat is usually one of those things that gets referenced to look smart, except people just run with the dead-or-alive part without really understanding the point.
