What other goal could he have? He was brought to Valhalla and was forced to fight or die by monsters. Since then he started enjoying this process and found friends, so he keeps doing it, but what do you really want from him? To try and get revenge on them? He knows the fight is to stop Ragnarok, which is also his goal, but other than that.

what i want is direction, so it feels like the story is making some progress. idk, maybe you can just see the progress while i cant, but to me it feels stagnant.

The direction is to become the best, basically. Tae Ho was the best pro gamer, and he wants to become the best in valhalla too (said it early in the first few chapters). So for that, he needs missions, get more sagas, more experience, etc. Of course between missions he interacts with the others (like Heda hehehe), but yeah. I don't think its different than any other tower climbing manhwa for example.
