Ok first of all, the art. Masterpiece. Museum worthy (my museum that is).

Second, should've put smut tag in there because i felt feelings and the not safe for work type of feelings (a.k.a lonely). The arm and wristwatch are my weakness and thats kinda the subtle theme of this entire story

Third, if physical touch is a drawing, this entire series is it. Which also my weakness

Fourth, the conversation is the rollercoaster and oh i so enjoy the ride. Just like the author put it, everything lays in the unsaid things. My mind works overtime filling the blank.

Conclusion this manga is personally made for me to love, and i do. Bestest in the softest subtle way.

So, what exactly is the setting? I assume this is central/western Europe, but what's the time period? 1900s? 1950s? 60s feels too late for this. Maybe even 19th century? As for the country, is it a generic unnamed place, or can it be identified? France is the obvious choice.

I really hope that this isn't stated later in the manga, I'm like 8 chapters in. But if it is, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to know asap.

I think it's a vague/composite/fictitious country. You catch hints of different places but they don't all fit together.
