LOOKS neat, might want to read cause of mass chapter release.. .. BUT the missing chapters just... well there's too much missing to even START to read , and i'm not going to START reading from chapter 600+
i severely enjoyed the anime and the manhua has good illustration. always watch the anime before your read it. thats just a good rule of thumb for all mangas/manhuas/manhwas
Jesus Christ have mercy upon my soul. I read the novel and was overjoyed. You can clearly feel the author getting better and better as the chapters go by. Now i'm up to date with chapter 1699 just being released in proper english translation and i give it 9.5/10. I tried manhwa and anime but was horribly disappointed, i give them 3/10 and 1.5/10 respectively. If you want to try this story just read the novel. Don't let the number of chapters and relatively mediocre writing in the beginning discourage you. One point to note is that the novel itself has over 3k chapters so I don't know when it will be finished...
The best fantasy storyline ever, because the world in this story is so big that it combines all the myths and legendary monsters around the world so that it feels so real but so unfortunate in the anime. If it were as good and long as one piece or dragon ball it would be masterpiece.

This is when the adaptation sucks but the original is beautiful.
Oftentimes the ones that have lots of chapters made in a short time have less and less effort from the original author, or have less thought/planning put in by the artist publishing the new media form of the work. Other examples are a really long-running and successful web novel getting a manga/anime adaptation, but the adaptation is done very poorly, so there's lots of content to make but the content is poorly done. For example, this has a novel with 1500+ chapters and is WELL WORTH reading, but the adaptation you see here on mangadex just... sucks.
Anyone who doesn't want to read all comments: Basically read LN its much superior, don't get fooled by number of chapter, it gets dumber as you go further, in LN author gets better because of experience of several hundred chapters. [LN much better]
