No, Alio is the one who was reported to have gone missing.
Most likely what happened is that he ditched his party and ran away to save his life.

Alio was either captured and mind controlled on a whim, or is made from Kiva's severed hand-a false copy. That's why he was so flippant about losing to a demon king. I'm leaning towards the latter due to his clear rage when hallow volunteered for a dangerous job-Kiva wants to torture him to death personally, and this meat-puppet won't let him get himself Giant-Stomped before then.

He's just a coward.
He ran away from his group which was why he was uninjured.
The way the chapter ends with "The one who put his name forward is a courageous hero... probably." and the close up on his sword (a hero's sword is supposed to glow when they wield it because they are powered by their courage) are hints.
