If he ends up dying, I'd say this was a fitting way for a man of brawn and brain like Jo Heon to go.

And in narrative terms, I can't see him surviving. The dash-cams recorded Mr Bang saying Jo Heon knows the Vigilante. Even if he denies it, the suspicion will remain and a few people know he and Ji Yong are acquainted. Also, it's a common plot armour element to have people who know the protagonist's identity die tragically before they can divulge the information.

Also, there's a major inconsistency here. Didn't Mr Bang know cars in SK have dash-cams? Like, even if he had managed to kill Jo Heon then and there, unless he was planning to break into all the cars and destroy the records, his plan to frame the Vigilante would be scuppered by their attack on Jo Heon being recorded.

Unless, of course, Mr Bang was counting on the Field Rat and his puppeteers to jump at the opportunity to frame Ji Yong and bury the dash-cam evidence. In this case, failing to produce the Vigilante crime scene imitation is probably a defeat that will cost the Sam Doo camp dearly.

Could also be that Mr.Bang is trying to lure out the vigilante on purpose, but it would be really odd since they didn't even hide their faces. It really might just be their fuckup in wanting to procure the footage later but failling the assassination to begin with, which inherently ruins all their plans

Also ill be big sad if murdercop dies, my favorite little huggable murder bear can't die like this, he still has so many mooky criminals to lethally bonk with trophies and so many cocky criminals to german suplex :meguuusad:

Ps: Play basket random online.
It seems you have a keen eye for detail and are considering the potential outcomes for the characters involved. I agree that the situation appears dire for Jo Heon, given the evidence and circumstances presented.
