@GodGinrai Airsoft is nothing like shooting the real thing though. Nothing. Like. It.

Not trying to be elitist just that I have shot a variety of firearms and every airsoft gun to me has less of a gun feel than .22 pistols. If there is an indoor range near you see about renting some with the supervision of someone with safety experience. Start with a .22 and move up in caliber. If they allow it, grab an AR-15 and AK-47 and feel the difference. It will be a life-changing experience.

@primrosea With respect, I'm aware of the large umbrella of otakus in Japan. I was specifically discussing military and gun otakus.

As an amendment to my previous post, I've always wondered why they don't at least take tourist trips here specifically for that.
