Im sure there's gonna be a reveal of what's going on with what's her name pinky based on those words.

But to be fair... the prince isn't helping at all, Lucas is doing nothing and the commoner knight didn't volunteer.

She's either very dumb for a bare minimum manipulation effort, dumb for not preparing a back up plan anticipating none of these men would have her back...

Or just extra fucking dumb all around for not using noble rules.

After getting to this point I think the implication is that Iris is pretty dumb, but in the "original story" she got lucky and had an opponent who was even more foolish than she was. The current Reilin now however just points out Iris' misdeeds and stands up for herself and that's enough.
