On a side note does thorfinn realize he has become the Askeladd in another persons mind? And that they have become similar to him even without the constant battlefield trips?

Also, I'm beginning to appreciate Hild more in the same way I appreciated Thorfinn when considering Askeladd the main character. They're eventually going to build a love/hate dynamic and it'll be all warm and fuzzy then cold and cutty off and on.

I don't understand some people complaining about Hild or some other characters acting as brakes for Thorfin, if they're not there then all of his character development would go down the drain. If your sole issue is there not being enough action then you've missed the point of this story, its called Vinland Saga not Viking Saga for a reason.

I’m becoming fcking sick of Hild and her irritating attempts to antagonize Thorfinn in order to get him to give in, allowing her a reason to kill him. Thorfinn has made a monumental decision to change himself in an era which most people don’t, and he’s been in the Battlefield since he was a toddler so it’s not his fault he has the “nature” of a cold-blooded killer, what Thorfinn is not a Wolf and in sheep’s clothing, at the very least he allowed you to live. I can’t wait till Hild forgives Thorfinn and comes into reasonble terms with him.

P.S : ik this is for Thorfinns development and this is the same as the Askeladd/ Thorfinn dynamic but I’m lowkey biased
