Man this is terrible. What will happen to the farms, to the land and the servants and the slaves and all the deals that have been set up so far? Who will take care of that after Hafdan inevitably passes away? Without a leader it will just disintegrate. Are they really ok with that? I honestly doubt that's possible. Sigurd doesn't even have a brother or hell, an adopted sibling that could step up and take care of things on Iceland.

Years of work all lost in a single night. Yes he should do what he wants to do with his life but that doesn't erase the total waste that this involves.
