Ok so, Japan has an estimated Population of 126,2m and ratio of 95.55 males per 100 females in which means 48.5% of the Population is male

12.1% are ages 0-14 and 28.4% are over 65 so 126,2m - (12.1 + 28.4)% = 51,1m take that away from 126,6 = 71.1m

so now in one of the chapters it said around 22m males had died 71.1m - 48.5% = 34.4m - 22m = 12.4m males left roughly

so whence this figure came out

the ratio has now gone down to nearly 1 male to 3.4 females, let say this ratio is the consenting age and stuff, then u have lots of other factors LGBT stuff
