Fluff is no reason to discriminate against cute Shellyboi! Maple would be as appalled as I am!
Snek couldn't just have bitten through the shell and tortle wouldn't have attacked its master. That's what Yuu gets for his lack of judgment!
He put one of his monsters (likely Vorpal) as the contestant rather than himself, because if he joined he wouldn't be able to use summoning, but he can summon beforehand and enter the monster that way - is what I'm assuming.
@JohannesKT Either that or allow summoners to use summons during matches. We've seen that summons can level up and evolve similar to players so it isn't that out of left field.
@Quixotic
Page 8 bottem right panel i feel like that sentence is wrong.
My summoning limit has went up.
Should prob be either one of these:
My summoning limit has gone up.
My summoning limit went up.
@trapcard113 Idk stil weird seeing as for summoners shouldnt the summon be their main weapon. I would understand a limit tough to how many are allowed.
What is with the game's dev shitty bias with summoner.
First they make it very hard/inefficient to get summon (as in you lost all material you used for every summon).
Now they just count summons as players in a fighting tournament, at least make it as 1 summon max along with the summoner.
@JohannesKT : Remember Summons count as party slots (which is one of the reasons the class is not liked). So counting as other players is part of the games setup.
Including a class advancement option, I think players get them at lv 15 (I read the raws up to the end of the tournament months ago) but basically the get to chose form 2 classes to advance into summons get the same but at a lower level (10), to stop being a summoner entirely
However the summoner seems to be the games only SOLO class since, as long as the summons are balanced right, you can get the effect of a full party with summon slots. You could also potentially re-spec the party by changing summons depending on the situation. It is very time and resource consuming though. But is a summon is supposed to be close to a Player in power level it kind of makes sense.
