its really ironic that god sent angels to save lot and his 2 daughters even though he fully knew that their descendants would be mortal enemies with abraham's descendant later down the line

Also is there a significance of leviathan in the fall of sodom when its the angels sent by god that destroyed it? was wondering this since ive never come across any connection between demons and the fall of sodom

Yeah, maybe the demon is an allegory for the sins of the people of Sodom and Gomorrah? And as much as their descendants would be enemies of Abraham's people, Lot and his daughters themselves, weren't at that time and gave them the option to flee the city and never look back. Losing his wife for not doing that is what made him lose it and was the catalyst to start all the conflicts later.
