I start to scratch my head at some point where this ghost start to go to gym to exercise. It's not like he can't, but damn, there is a result, for a ghost!

The scariest part is that Takeuchi has a reflex and is gaining muscle mass. He even looks like a typical "gym rat"!~

So, he doesn't actually need to work out to self-improve. Rather, he wholeheartedly believes that working out leads to gains. And by believing that and then working out, he changes accordingly. Ghosts are malleable. That's why the artist ghost (Yuki, I think?) can fly. Because she is imaginative enough to believe that she can. Probably also why her tiddies get bigger every chapter.

Point is, gymbro ghost isn't bulking up because he's working out. He's bulking up because he believes that working out makes him bulk up. If he had no confidence in exercising, it wouldn't work.

Okay, that last page with the bird thing at the bottom. From what it looked like, it was actually slightly scrawnier than the one in the mirror.

So, as far as we can tell, those reflections aren't actually people who wanted to look inhuman, but ghosts who already looked inhuman but coincidentally also were going to the gym to get buff just like everyone else. Which is dumb but hilarious and completely in-line with the tone.

How is no one talking about how this possibly confirm there are stage 4 or 5 ghost roaming around freely and 3 of them take the same gym takeuchi does

Edit: the fact they are roaming freely without scaring people might imply that someone tamed them like the mc does
