Well yeah go figure, she lives honest to herself but her past is still a mystery, we just know she had to work a lot.

Finding out that her co-workers start getting hurt if she works somewhere for too long filled in a lot of blanks for me.

There was also something Tsudzumi mentioned... Something something Shinonome learned judo while trying to become an occupational therapist(?) but later had to give up.

IIRC she also started out in a ton of debt.

All this to say, the whole passive income thing isn't just a haha I love money and hate work thing, it's the only way she can consistently make a living without endangering other people.

Come to think of it her lack of desire is pretty normal for someone who can finally relax after accomplishing something they worked super hard for. Like that's not even you being selfless you're tired and you don't wanna think about complicated stuff.
