How much focus is on romance? I was looking for some good romance manga and found it. Though reviews are +ve, they seem to suggest that it is drama and dance focused.

Romance is very light and so far more of a background element, but recent chapters have hinted that that aspect may be picking up soon. I wouldn't read this with the primary thought of reading a romance manga though.

Honestly I was super excited for this when I first started reading this, but once the storyline started pushing Kabo to the side in favor of Wanda, it became a lot less enjoyable.

I don't know, at the beginning it felt like a story about someone finding where they want to be in the world and Wanda just happened to make that place a little more noticeable. I guess I should have expected it based off the title but at some point it started taking the focus off Kabo and making his character play second fiddle. It makes it feel like he's not as good and will never be as good. And I honestly don't think that's true.

I don't think it would've bothered me as much if it didn't feel like the plot took a huge left turn. It also sort of bothers me that dance was touted as being a way Kabo could express himself and then the focus was taken off Kabo almost completely. How's he supposed to express sh!t if the story is always focused on Wanda. At this point Kabo is a filler character used to express how good Wanda is. I think if the author just want to express and tell a story about Wanda then there were better ways to do it.

I don't think it's been taken off of kabo at all, or maybe you are reading earlier chapters? The author even (maybe SPOILERS)

make them go separate ways a bit to show kabo's more personal dance progression in breakdancing recently too

I wonder how they’ll animate the amazng art in the dances and how they’ll handle the copyright materials. The dance panels itself are already painting with all that heavy lines and godly brush strokes.

On the other note, it’s sad to see that the scanlation seems to have been dropped. I’ll just wait for the english volumes then.
