Honestly I was super excited for this when I first started reading this, but once the storyline started pushing Kabo to the side in favor of Wanda, it became a lot less enjoyable.
I don't know, at the beginning it felt like a story about someone finding where they want to be in the world and Wanda just happened to make that place a little more noticeable. I guess I should have expected it based off the title but at some point it started taking the focus off Kabo and making his character play second fiddle. It makes it feel like he's not as good and will never be as good. And I honestly don't think that's true.
I don't think it would've bothered me as much if it didn't feel like the plot took a huge left turn. It also sort of bothers me that dance was touted as being a way Kabo could express himself and then the focus was taken off Kabo almost completely. How's he supposed to express sh!t if the story is always focused on Wanda. At this point Kabo is a filler character used to express how good Wanda is. I think if the author just want to express and tell a story about Wanda then there were better ways to do it.
