this manga has been freaking annoying at times interpreting her main reason of never smiling for two years as a misunderstanding. It's not a misunderstanding if the words used were very direct. It's not a misunderstanding if she was CLEARLY LIED to. She was literally called ugly for smiling when she was 9. These characters are so emotionally dumb I swear, why are y'all faulting a kid---whose brain has barely developed---on interpreting sentences that were spoken with a direct, explicit, and angry tone.
She's not the one who's a handful, it's the stupid ahh male lead.
I can't anymore, Imma just drop this. It was a satisfying read until the characters kept reiterating that the main reason was a misunderstanding. It was not, kick the writing, she was obviously traumatized. The only "one-sided assumptions of misunderstandings" that were valid were from the second half or after the admission of lies. I'll continue reading it if the boys' tennis captain and the girls' get together.
edit: Oh lol nvm on the "continue" part, this was the finale chapter. My opinion still stands though, it was a satisfying read until that girls' tennis captain pointed out doubts if ml was the only reason why she can't smile. She's freaking wrong and fl is freaking wrong too for narratively (by ventriloquism) saying what happened when she was 9 was a misunderstanding. No, ml was the only reason she couldn't smile.
She was a freaking kid you donuts, you expect her to have eq levels of an adulting teenager where instead of running away, she would asked what the fudge he meant by calling her ugly?
