Plus MC already has had sex (even though it was with a Slime Woman).

Oh, for sure, the artist can do whatever they want and has already crossed all those lines.

Ultimately, I'm surprised at just how different this ant monster girl looks compared to ones in other series, and that's making me think about everything too hard. We don't have "woman with some antennae and maybe some graspers near the mouth and maybe weird hands/feet" and we don't have "bipedal ant that happens to have two lumps that kinda look like boobs". Instead we get "woman covered in non-removable ant-like armor that forgot to put on the face mask and sleeves and still left a boob window."

So I was trying to figure out a more in-world explanation for this species' existence. Slimes can have whatever body shapes they want since they're able to change their shapes, and use it to attack people, so I don't question that. But how something that is so much an Ant manages to grow some human-like skin in just the right places to make it look like a bra is baffling.

So the only mental explanation I landed on was "magic trying to get around some hypothetical in-world public decency law". We've seen bare nipples in private settings like people bathing, or in the privacy of a room. But nothing like people being allowed to walk around topless in a marketplace.
This 90% bug, 10% human woman chimera seems like someone in-world was specifically trying to invent a species that would be allowed to walk around "naked" in a way that no one in world would mind, and yet still have human sex appeal while having the minimum amount of "skin".

The artist is trying too hard to have a species that grows its own latex/spandex/gimp suit fetish.
