viewing this objectively, it is a bit interesting and the way her husband is mention could indicate either he's on a trip OR he just up and walked out on her and the kid but they havent actually gotten divorced.
If it's the first (he's just on a trip) then it's cheating but if it's the second then i see no problem with her doing escorting to pay the bill and provide for her child.
More information on the status of her husband is needed before a conclusive judgement can be made.

Considering this series' potential when you consider the author's other works (most, if not all extremely fucked up) then this will probably turn into just as big a shitshow as their other works.
