I don't see how this is unacceptable when a lot of Kurohime's development has been post chapter 25 so you've known the whole time that there's a high chance that her feelings will not be returned. It would only be anticlimactic for Kurohime's personal story, not the story at large. Itsumi so far as gotten away with being a horndog so her finally having to face the consequences of her actions and mature from it isn't anticlimactic. A threesome ending where Rin and Kurohime start off perfectly okay with it would actually be more anticlimactic as that's Itsumi escaping from her exploding time bomb unscathed.I will understand why if it happens, because that’s how it is in real life for someone so popular, but still, as a story, it just feels anticlimactic. Simply unacceptable. No matter who she chooses, no matter if Kurohime just gives up and accept their friendship, or abandon Itsumi because she somehow falls out of love.
And you can something similar about Rin. How after all their development to being a couple, their cute romantic relationship, and at least a month of living together on the weekends being in their own world that Rin will now have to share Itsumi with another girl. And you tell me that after all this development, all this set up, all this romantic tension, she’ll go back to square one as a “friend”???
Rin has no idea about how much fooling around with other girls Itsumi has done. Itsumi deflected about the kissing as something that just casually happens sometimes at an all girls school. She has never told Rin about having sex with other girls. And she brushed off Yanagi's kiss after the dodgeball match as just something Yanagi does with any girl which Rin was still not okay with. With the amount of girls she's been making out with and even having sex with, you'd think the girlfriend would be cool with her having one more girlfriend.
If anything its more controversial that Itsumi hasnt told her other "friends" that she used the love potion on them and thats why shes popular at school now.Rin has no idea about how much fooling around with other girls Itsumi has done. Itsumi deflected about the kissing as something that just casually happens sometimes at an all girls school. She has never told Rin about having sex with other girls. And she brushed off Yanagi's kiss after the dodgeball match as just something Yanagi does with any girl which Rin was still not okay with.
Also while Rin knows that Itsumi tried to get her to drink the love potion, Rin doesn't know Itsumi uses that love potion on other girls.
Odds are very high Itsumi will bullshit her way into a temporary non-resolution that doesn't shoot Kurohime down but still at least mostly maintains the status quo. We still have at least one major plot point to resolve with mob-aligned Riko taking over as the student council president (and Sakura clearly knowing full well Riko's up to some shit). The accidental yuri web finally unraveling and Itsumi suffering the consequences has to be the final story arc; as long as Riko's still around, Kurohime's hopes shouldn't be getting properly dashed just yet.HOWEVER…HOWEVER…HOWEVER…I do NOT want to see Kurohime fail, not one bit. Not just because I like her character and she’s such a good girl, but also because she’s special among this MASSIVE cast of girls around Itsumi for so long. Nearly all others girls who’s slept with Itsumi or not, they’re either literally not interested (yet), formed their own ships, or moved on because they’ve given up after knowing Itsumi’s life of love personally (surprisingly, there are two girls who fit in this category, and you know who I’m talking about).
However, Kurohime’s different. She’s been here since chapter 8, and has been making appearances every now and then, to the point when she’s actually in love with Itsumi because of how she is, instead of the Love Potion’s effect, and we’ve known about her love for so long, that we witnessed it personally until it grow up to the point where she mustered the courage to kiss her and confess, not to mention she has her own group of friends supporting her to pursue her love so she’ll have no regrets.
And you tell me that after all this development, all this set up, all this romantic tension, she’ll go back to square one as a “friend”???

Not sure if I can bring myself to believe that, sadly.(<- delusional) The poly route still has hope!
I do’t know. Good point. Itsumi’s known for being a little evil twerp who’s good at running away and acting like a boss in control. Could be interesting when conflicts arise together.Odds are very high Itsumi will bullshit her way into a temporary non-resolution that doesn't shoot Kurohime down but still at least mostly maintains the status quo.
