@Panino I think Mako's problem is that she is way too nice and willing to please everybody. She doesn't say what she really thinks to Minami because she doesnt want to hurt her feelings/avoid conflict. I get the feeling is also why she hangs out with her as well: She pities her a little.
This isnt an issue with Yuri because she is more comfortable with her, since she clearly seems more collected and less likely to throw a tantrum over being called out. It may factor that they didnt know each other that much back then so is easier to speak honestly with a stranger than a close friend. Makes you feel less judged.
Now ofc the bonds of all the girls has gradually changed and the dynamics are all unique to each of them.
@tamarakko Don't be a baby.
If she ends with someone, then good for her for actually getting that far to form a romantic relationship with Anyone At All.
But that aside, I don't think the author has it to make this a Girl's Love story. It was never about that and while Tomoko is a pervert, everything strikes me more as bait or as comedic relief.
Kudos to her If she does get a partner tho, regardless of gender.
