The whole school festival arc is worth it even if it's just to lead up to this moment. Tomoko's still has the same well-grounded introverted core she had, even after going through everything. She is still the loser everyone loves and I adore it

Really happy that in the final moments she kinda blows it. Very grounded and real. She already grew so much just from stepping up with this idea and seeing it through with everyone, we don't need miraculous transformation into a sociable girl at this super challenge of being on a stage in front of everyone.

She blew it like how I blew my chemistry teacher by short circuiting the plugs.

Man this was so real. I loved it, this chapter made me remember things from my school festival I'd rather forget. When you have this over the top idea and in the moment of truth your brain screams "this is stupid, everyone is cringing, make it stop" so you blow it, but you kind of regret it years down the line. I kind of need a drink after this, thanks Tomoko.

maaaaan, i'm glad that i wasn't the only nervious on this chapter, and I agree that this ending was totally expected, kuroki is still the same, but she has now a safe space to be and talk.

In my last year of high school, I made a video with some friends on the aniversary of the school for a contest, we had to replace another video because it had jokes that can not be showed in public (thanks classmates), we planned, recorded and edited the video in like 6 hours, just in time to pass it to the comitee, my friend and i edited the video and we were SO FKN NERVIOUS, thinkin just like tomoko "the video will be boring, no one will like it" BUT IT WAS THE OPPOSITE, everyone was laughing out loud, that was the best moment in my time as a high schooler.

We won that contest.

I REAAALLY hope that the same happens to tomoko, feel the same happiness after the regrets that came to her before screening the movie.
