@Enderzone The presentation of the manga is clearly meant to get us in the emotional state of the characters. The mangaka wants us to feel the choking tension, the unrelenting pressure, the unbearable stress. This is not a good feeling, and I guarantee most have experienced these emotions before. This is why in my review I stated how the story is not meant to be a comfortable read, and why it clearly isn't for everyone. This is the kind of psychological drama only the most appreciative of literature could enjoy. A lot of depth to chew on. However if it gets a proper anime adaptation, I suspect it could become very popular due to the popularity of things like Mirai Nikki purely because of the yandere bait. I'd rather it become more popular through the emotional depth of the characters. We may not know their goals and aspirations, but we're fully attuned to their mental and emotional states and that's what makes them compelling.
