That's called rebounding and it's actually not goodShouko needs a new love to get over her past love. It won't be easy for Yukari to find courage to confess, but I hope she can do it.

Shino and Ren too! (And the great Ruruna-sama)
This was a great chapter though, I love how Shouko's emotions are drawn, her frustrated crossness in the last panel was so evocative.
It occurs to me though that she must've had some bad experience with being outed before, or at least internalized homophobia, given her reaction of "gross isn't it?"
Lets just hope Yukari can show her it's not at all gross
isn't the joke more that the dominating top is a shy cute girl and the submissive bottom is an outgoing princely girl, not about their hair colors?sure it was a joke but that blondie is a dominating top with immeasurable powers.
also cannot forget about princess Marie, she is the most top woman in any yuri ever.
I was going to comment how Marie seems more like the ultimate bottom, because she's basically at the mercy of every woman she seduces and sleeps with (on penalty of death).
But maybe she's the ultimate argument for why the Bottom/Sub is the one who actually has all the power in those types of relationships, because they are the ones that the Top/Dom must attend to and see that each of their needs is met (and because everything is "done" to them, their safety and comfort is prioritized).
And in Marie's case, she must attend to the needs of every woman in her harem, because the penalty is, again, death.
Yeah great way to start the chapterPeak, page 3 is so beautiful
Yeah she won't make a move for a while at least consciously but I think Shouko will start to realise the other girls feeling for herYukari taking so long to actually speak up about anything other than apologies and unneeded observations about the "others" commenting on Shouko's withdrawal had me worried.
But she picked herself up at the tail end and made the move, so it's a relief to know that she's still committing to being at Shouko's side. I suspect we'll be going a ways before Yukari's own predilections will be brought to light, especially as I presume she'll consider it "uncouth" to appear like she's making a move on a recently-heartbroken girl. That said, I think they do need to find their footing as friends first. They have something unique between them - that shared secret of Shouko's for one, as well as a built-in secret base in the form of the gardening committee which will allow for more time between just them, and a potential refuge for Shouko to seek a moment of peace away from her cousin and the other two, when she needs it.
The trick will be converted the gardening club safe space, into the Yukari safe space, of course, but that'll come with time. Shouko already knows she has Yukari as a confidante, so she's already inclined to seek her committee member out with the secret between them as well.
Yukari's just gotta convince Shouko that while she's maybe terrified, it's not for the reasons Shouko suspects. And then start building herself up a bit more, so that she can feel comfortable enough to confess their similarities.
Really digging the subtle expression work in this chapter, though. Given it's mostly dialogue carrying the story, a good chunk of the impact relies on the character design and portrayal. And Ono Rin is very good at that, I must say.
Thanks for the TL, as always.
Totally now she has no competition, but she should take it slow, not make a move while she's heartbroken, for now she really needs a friend who is there for heryou've got this! rizz her!
Yeah it certainly won't be easy but she can do it. I think it will take a few chapters, but hopefully we won't have to wait too longShouko needs a new love to get over her past love. It won't be easy for Yukari to find courage to confess, but I hope she can do it.
Thanks for the chapter
