time skip happened - basically its as if an earthquake hit these people's lives and they're all trying to pick up the pieces.

The mom decided to start taking care of herself, so she lost weight and visited the dad for closure. She still keeps in touch with the daughter and the dad.
The daughter finally left juvie for the weirdest attempted murder ever seen in that universe, and used it to become a youtuber. Shes still understandably bitter.
The girl kept the child, and decided to raise a better daughter than her bully was. People kinda knows whats up with such a young mother but they don't say anything. Shes raising her kid as a single mom the best she can while trying to move towards a better job as a programmer.
The dad is implied to still be homeless, as the scene involves the mom going their separate ways at the bridge. I don't know if this also a direct visual euphemism for "water under the bridge". He remains a loser somewhere caught between external blame and internalized hate. The cardboard bed under that bridge is home.

An interesting thing to note is that the mom meets the dad at a similar restaurant to the one he solicited the girl at. Did she figure this out, for a silent revenge? Maybe its a coincidence, yet its a sort of a poetic way for the relationship to be completely ended.

The themes of the manga concern the past, and responsibility. The women in the story all have moved on with their lives, where as the dad, burdened his sins, still stuck under the bridge as a homeless man. He tried to turn back time and paid dearly for it; he ran away from being a responsible adult and lost everything. The mangaka seems obsessed with how paradoxical human sexuality is at times. In this case literal self destruction. Their more recent work seems to be exploring this too, which uh has been interesting already but appears to be exploring a different aspect.
A situation this fucked up just cannot end well. Even if they got together the trauma and guilt would have been too much to endure.
