Kii-chan is going extra hard in sowing chaos because she got caught out by Tomoko earlier so now she's getting revenge. You know this will all somehow come back to bite Tomoko in the ass once everyone finds out she wasn't even in the costume despite them all thinking she was (even the Student Council Pres ).

I also wonder if the cross dressing boy from our gaggle of usual suspects will finally come out or not. He very obviously has a thing going on with his "friend" in the same class that was already established and I suspect his "secret weapon" might very well be calling him up on stage and doing something with him (in typical anime/manga fashion it'll either be a confession or a kiss). He is in the group that is highlighted when he's talking about the "trick".

Finally I do actually like the character development on Tomoki here with Akari. They seem to actually be building rapport with each other given his nonchalant response to her asking to sit beside him. If it wasn't for her fucking lunatic friend sandbagging every chance she had I could easily see Akari having a shot with him even though I'm rooting for Yoshida (get fucked Mako you snake).
