I mean...Yuri isn't wrong. He was making a joke/lightly flirting with her and he obviously thinks she's the least crazy of his sister's friends (or just the other girls at the school in general). The only problem is that she gets into her own head too much and tries to push it or do things out of her comfort zone when her treating him like one of the guys and being her usual self is why he has been relatively open with her. Also doesn't help that the turbo bitch Mako is there trying to torpedo her chances to satisfy her own doomed lesbian urges.



She is "winning" by far since as I said she's the only one who treats him normally for the most part. Everyone else obviously has an agenda or he's already pegged as a psycho. If she keeps her head about her the others will all disqualify themselves and she'll be the winner by default. Doesn't hurt that she's attractive and he's technically seen her naked/in a bath towel already so you know his teenage boy mind subconsciously remembers.

From a more meta perspective, Yoshida is also one of the biggest reasons Tomoko started to mellow out and come out of her shell a bit. If anything given how much of a siscon Tomoki is, Yoshida is perfect dating material given she's one of his sister's best friends and keeps her in line (for the most part).

I'm actually seriously confused by this constant mischaracteriation of Tomoki as a siscon. He hates her. He literally refered to her as "that" this chapter. He has very little respect for her, and one of the early story moments explains why. Her constant need to win instead of trying to have fun ruined the time they spent together, and he grew to hate her. It only got worse when she started talking to him about really uncomfortable stuff that she should have just kept to herself. She was a weird asshole.

It's also why Kiko is so strange.

Considering how incredibly fucking boring this series has become over the past 100+ chapters, there ain't no way this series is returning with another season. Only reason why I'm still around is cause I wanna see how it ends, but honestly though the quality of the average chapter is about the same as flushing a toilet.

I like Sachi as a character, her burgeoning crush makes sense to me, and I agree with her being into Tomoki and getting dragged into the MC's mess by getting competitive over that being funny, but I can't say I'd like someone who enjoys being mean as a person, and I bet Yoshida would be better girlfriend.

I love this series. I haven’t read it in a 2 years or so that I decided to read it from the latest chapters and I could not stop laughing. Then I had to reread it from chapter 70ish to chapter 240 with in a day and a half. I feel like everyone is becoming more unhinged and it’s so hilarious.
