I thank that person because it led to the original scanlator to pick it up again with promises that they will keep on doing the series.

Most of the stuff unloaded on MangaDex is MTL, the thing is that most of them run their MTL through grammar checkers and spell checkers so it feels at least some semblance of natural language.

Those people don't get dogpiled because their MTL isn't as obvious.

It always feels like an act of cowardice by the writer to treat an actual goddamn reincarnation as just a straight continuance of the prior life, with no impact whatsoever to the person's personality.

You have an entirely new brain and nervous system. You have literally been rewired. Even if you remained the same species and gender, you would not remain the same. For example, even mild changes to the acuity of your various senses mean you would never again experience the world like you once did.

And if you got reincarnated as something long-lived, eventually your original lifespan would represent only a fraction of your memories. Imagine your entire human life being reduced to the handful of snippets that most folks remember their childhood as.

It is weird to me me that outside of a couple notable exceptions (like A Wild Last Boss Appeared!), only smut and comedies ever seem to consider what the hell a new body and everything that comes with it would do to your personality.

Some errors on page 14 have already been pointed out. There are others elsewhere.

Page 2: "You losers should not to enter the Martial Festival" the "to" needs to be dropped, and a period is missing at the sentence's end.
"Loser" in the 2nd panel should be "losers", and the sentence ended with a period.
Page 5: "Dumbass" is missing a period.
Page 9: "No we didn't" should be "No we don't."
Page 10: "walk" should be "walks" or "was walking", and the period is missing.

I’d also reword “much stricter and unreasonable” as “much more strict and unreasonable”

While your (PersonalistX) scanlation is undeniably better and I'm very grateful for , I do wish the MTL chapters wouldn't have been deleted. Translation quality aside, it was effort and to see it disappear is a little sad. Kinda of like when people throw away their early sketches while learning how to draw.

I might agree with you if the person who uploaded them did anything more than simply uploading the raws to a website that auto-translated and typeset everything for them (they literally left the website’s watermark). Like what skill were they developing? Finding raws? Making a MD account and clicking the upload button?

This could have had the exact same words as the mtl chapters, and we still would've have preferred our because it would've had visible effort put in. The typesetting is substantially better, the text actually fits where it should, and you didn't include pages that were completely untranslated.

This issue we had with those chapters was that they were done with no actual regard for the quality of the work. The reason we read here is because what we read makes sense to is, and we want to show that we appreciate your effort.

If all we got from here were junk translations that were spit out directly from the AI, watermarks and all, we don't need MD for that; we could find the raws and do it ourselves on demand.
