Probably genuine paranoia because he's a military personnel in high status plus a noble. Probably complicated family relationships and people gunning for his position/inheritance (quite a few of them by sending their daughters in as well) so he assumes the same for this case as well since it's better safe than dead.
@Himecchi LMFAO MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY like damn what a lovely marriage haha 😍😍
i get him being wary over it since he is part of the military but legit u could have tested for poision any other way + bruh whats with the drop dead shit he said
It's definitely paranoia; he's suspicious MC could be an agent sent to incapacitate him over his titles. Plus he has trust issues when it comes to women - all his previous fiancee candidates were spoilt, demanding shits.
Maybe title "My Blissful Marriage" not referring to story from the start but how progress and development of relationship between MC and her husband. Lets not expecting that their relationship will "blissful" from the start, maybe the plot will like "Tsubaki-chou Lonely Planet" i think. Look like it will be a long story until reach "blissful" moment.
plus, i assume in the middle of the story, the guy who married her step-sister will grow a backbone and became a third wheeler between the fmc and her husband. this is only my theory...
Though Kyoka did seem uncomfortable (or maybe annoyed?) when she complied without a word when he laid out the rules. I guess he doesn't believe someone could be so compliant - or maybe even agree to marry him - without having an ulterior motive, considering he managed to chase away any previous wives-to-be in under 3 days.
I'm guessing that Miyo will eat the food instead of clearing it away.
@umjen@matcha_love
It was mentioned in the previous chapter that she's 18.
Omg. He gave her no time to react. She feels that it's rude to eat in front of people because she had been reprimanded in that trash house. I get why he's wary but omg these two need a wingman or something to translate
Many thanks
I thought it will be a cute story, dang I'm all teared up instead.
But i love how the author properly relay the emotions to us readers.
This is beautiful but ughh my kokoro is in pain for our miyo.
