@ikiru0514 You are correct. She has a little sister specifically. And although my Chinese is very bad, I believe the characters she used do just mean younger sister. That conversation made no sense.

Last chapter was awkward as hell. When they were on the train and Satoko kept switching between being shown as an adult and as a child felt really...unsettling. Let me be clear. It makes sense. I get that. We had had hints of her parental issues throughout, and that was just the culmination of it. However, the truly awkward and unsettling thing was how the artist had Mashuu look older, look like an adult (you can see changes of clothes when he switches between).

It was artificial. It was cheap. It was an attempt to make their relationship look more acceptable. "Oh, Satoko is actually a vulnerable child on the inside while Mashuu is actually like a capable adult." Yes, let's ignore all the childish things Mashuu has done. It looks like the author trying super hard to justify their relationship.

I know I'm a chapter late, but I just wanted to say that.

@zerothegreat12 It's been a timeskip of a few months. Last chapter, Satoko was going back to Tokyo after the New Year holiday (early January). This chapter has them already in the new school year, which begins in something like March or April in Japan. I can't really remember. They haven't taken their first trimester exams, so it's not yet summer. I'd guess between March and June.

Seriously though, of all the people I could relate with, it was the friend. LOL. Ultimately she got upset coz it seemed like Nao wasn't very thankful for her efforts for her so far by saying 'these feelings are something I have to deal with on my own'. Ofc she doesn't mean she's ungrateful but she wants to give her feelings across on her own, and her good friend got disappointed and ranted to their other friend. Though she had the right to be upset, she shouldn't poke her nose too far in Nao's business and instead of complaining to someone else, she should've confronted her instead. I really like how this story handles stuff like this! It felt so real

@zerothegreat121 Yeah there was another timeskip, this time it looks to be another 2 year one at that, because it looks like Mashuu is in high school, a Freshman/1st Year; the Line IM sequence at the start of this chapter is him and (who is implied to be) Satoko talking about his high school entrance exam results.
