After looking it up, the etymology of the Japanese タルト did come from the same word in the European languages, so I guess it's not exactly wrong to call them "tarts"…?

I feel like after coming clean Shiori sometimess act more cute & airheaded (and obviously more blatantly possesive/obsessesive/needy/affectionate with Hinako) than before (even though before she still WAS quite playful). E.g. this whole chapter, her gleefully looking at birds in chap 36.5, her being jealous of Miko, her asking Hinako for praise chap 32, and many dopey facial expressions e.g. when watching the Miko drama.

Despite her still apparently lacking care for human life besides Hinako, it makes Shiori feel more genuine and fun. Maybe she is enjoying the human lifestyle (progress?).

And with Miko recently acting more serious and all, we are getting eerily close to the earliest version of watatabe
