In case if you haven't noticed, the previous guys and I have been translating the term "youkai" as "monster", and there are some other names that are technically proper nouns which have been translated either way(Ningyo/Mermaid, Bakekitsune/Fox Spirit, etc). Keep that and the general context of Japanese youkai legends in mind.

Man I miss when this manga was still focused on somehow healing Hinako emotional scars...
Like they revealed pretty much all the main mysteries at the start already with the recent climax, but the actual main plot point of the story went back to 0 (or maybe even negative)

I think i will put this work in the back until it's either completed or 10+ chapters ready to read. I can't take another plot while unsure if the main couple thing will conclude with a happy end or not. You can't just go full depression-mode and then introduce some fox loli or something.

From a storyteller's perspective I think the next time they solve Hinako and Shiori's problems it's going to be the end of this manga.
This current arc looks very much like it'll be part of the solution process, though. It's about Miko meeting this monster girl who had a past of helping humans and that backfiring. I think the other individual who will participate might have a word or two to comment on that.
