Oh Shiori is also such a sad character... Wanting to save someone so bad, but you don't really fully understand them. Her face and mannerisms are always so alienly calm and condescending, but she's clearly tearing herself up inside... Hinako is more important to her than herself.

Last chapter, too, i find it alarming how so many people are unable to read between the lines and seem to take everything at face value. The message of this whole manga is how to cope with loss and find meaning in life again. All the actions, and this chapter also, signal towards a happy ending even when the theme is tragedy and tragic things happen. Thats part of the process. To think that she gets eaten after finding happiness again, that would, based on the last almost 30 chapters, not make sense at all. Im still unsure how much yuri we will get in the end but the probability of Hinako dying in some tragic way is 1%.
I am in between for a happy and a sad ending

Just my opinion
If we carefully see the way Shiroi is…
Honestly, she doesn’t even look like the person that can bring herself to eat Hina. Whether she gets her will to live or not.

This is already proven because Shiroi said herself, “she can’t bring herself to eat the child”

But point remains
How will we get a happy ending?
If anything, Hina need to atleast recover decently from her trauma and depression. But how will Hina even get the will to live? Let along recover? She live around Shiroi hoping she’d eat her. You don’t get will to live by hoping to die.

A happy ending is possible but I can’t see what’s ahead

oof, the grammar here is painful

I know this is from 2 years back, but if you have a proofreader at all, it would be worth having them review these old pages and reupload them

"I wonder if I hurt a girl by force kissing her" the answer is yes mate, but because I wouldn't consider that a kiss and I'm choosing to believe in you for the time being, I'm a let it slide and continue to pretend it didn't happen... Just ignore this comment on it

This best be good Miko, I fear they may self destruct together without outside interference

this what makes me realized that, while not in the very obvious way as "love", Shiori see Hinako as someone special for her. before meeting Hinako, all the people who meets Shiori see her as either god or monster. (well, aside that one girl who Shiori gave her flesh and become immortal, but we know nothing about her.) so for someone who is really this important for Shiori, Hinako must be very glad. although combined with that kiss, can we counted this as "love" then? I'm not really sure...... :(

Alas like Shiori said, it is a formal pledge this time…

So that means something is different than last time. Where Shiori just lied or where Shiori gave her blood as a blessing
