One of them has slightly smoother hair. Other than that they're pretty much identical.

Dunno if it's just the latest chapters (12.5/13), but them boys lookin funny having shoeboxes for shoulders and torsos. Right angles and solid flat surfaces.

it was not "just running". Dude kidnapped her with no one seeing where they went, and her phone was left behind so she could not be tracked. She was drugged and with no way of fighting back to the heavily implied sexual assault, meaning that the search had a time limit.
Sure, we kind of had a good idea already of what would happen in the end , but it is not the same as just skipping to the end like here. (especially since someone's comments here implies at least one story where it did not happen)
That said, someone already confirmed out that chapter 12 was indeed missing more than half of its pages, pointing to a site with the chinese version of them (according to Google Lens).
Hope the translators will post a 12.2 later with the missing pages.
Yup. And yeah, they look a lot alike, kinda reinforces the contrast.
She had been drugged, thus how she was captured in the first place. And she was still weak from it, thus needing to be rescued since she is the second strongest when healthy. As soon as there is no more need to the adrenaline, she crashed.
Well, at least here we have a justification for his misunderstanding. It is very annoying, but in this particular point it is understandable on his side.
She was just kidnapped and almost SA'd by someone who misunderstood her friendly actions for romantic, and as mentioned she was close to passing out when confessing so he needed to be sure she meant it before acting on it.

This chapter was horrid.
Not only does it feel like there's an entire chapter missing before the start of this one, but then it also ended with the failed confession trope. Wish mangakas wasn't scared of writing romance, instead of "I can't believe its not romance, what is author doing?!" or even "characters that think they got rejected".
