Very nice. It follows the extended edition of the movie, while adding a little bit of plot. I don't think the mariner was mapping the cities originally in the extended edition. Then again I could be mistaken as I did watch it a long time ago.

I never even knew this got a manga back then, but such was the fate of most blockbusters
If you're ever able, I'd give anything to see a translation of the adaptation for Small Soldiers, but the tankobons are pretty expensive these days...
