Nice work with the Heart Sutra, I could not get what the writing was at all. I agree it seems like a very intentional choice.

On the other hand, Wim Hof is... interesting - as in he's clearly not a fraud - but yeah, personally I do hope Kazune Yamamoto isn't drawing on him. Looking at Wiki "My secret technique can cure cancer" is an instant red flag for me, let alone all the other stuff with people dying trying to copy him. When I was trying to see if Hyaku's ability was anything other than nonsense, everything I saw seemed to indicate that it doesn't matter how much you could suppress your endothermic reaction, you're still not shrugging off tissue damage from extreme low temperature, never mind turning into the Hulk. Even Hof couldn't stop his own eyeballs from freezing.

This isn't trying to tell anyone to stop enjoying it, obviously! Just that my reaction reading it for the first time was "...this is bullshit, right? Very entertaining bullshit, but still?" and nothing I could see had me feeling I was wrong.

She is a great character, though. Trust me, anyone else reading this, her bits only get better.

And also rhe fundamentals about the murder are probably going to be accurate for this kind of mystery. Could be a remote killing with psychics.
