Last day of 8th grade I played the national anthem on trumpet in front of the whole school (I did that every year starting in like 4th grade or something), and afterwards adults would come up with tears in their eyes telling me how beautiful it was. Then my mom gave me a DVD with Month Python's Flying Circus on it as a reward. As for what I was thinking, it was probably mostly "I really just want to go home and play runescape" and "thank God this stupid, shitty, horrible year is over." Then I went home and played runescape while trying to flirt with girls on MSN.

8th grade I was happy it was over, had survived potentially being expelled. High school somehow I just stopped getting into trouble for the most part, was only there like maybe 4 times the whole time. Though I’m glad that part of my life is over.

Yk i honestly dont dislike how aoki suddenly has all this depth to him as he exits the narrative. It's like all the rumors surrounding kamoi in the earlier chapters were actually true but about him instead. I feel like it mightve been intentional of the story to show how the two of them contrast in people's perception and actual personality but still come to treat them as close confidants by the end of it. I dont particularly hate the depth he now has, but i can't say i particularly cared about him as a character outside of his relationships to the rest of the cast
