You’re judging a teen’s panicked, immature coping as if it were an adult doing calculated harm. She’s a middle schooler who’s just realized her first love and good friend was dating an adult, and she reacts badly,she lashes out at the woman, and then when the boy she’s now interested in shows up when she's clearly distressed, she kisses him as a coping mechanism for her intense emotions and denies it happened right after. That’s wrong, and she owes him honesty, but calling it “gaslighting” or “stranger sexual assault” is a huge rhetorical leap. It reads more like a messy teenager avoiding facing her feelings and consequences than a predatory person “taking advantage.”
