It switches back and forth between nostalgic, relatable depictions of the pain and awkwardness of being in middle school and extremely stupid (sometimes funny) sex humor, and you never know which one you're going to get. It keeps you on your toes. If you're looking for lovey-dovey romance, there's basically none of it.

Progression of time and the surprisingly deep cast for an otherwise ecchi series beginning. Kamoi is definitely an all time great female lead, and Stowie's growth led to one of the previous chapters

just how close and just how far their relationship actually is.

The series is pretty well plotted out in advance as I recognize just how much of the current class was foreshadowed in that final spread of chapter 40.
