Whats with japan and their fetish of being stomped on all the time acting like its honorable? The protagonist is a bystander in his own series watching his apparent loved ones get treated like shit. What a frustrating series
That's the problem when the author justifies his actions later. There's a powerful guy simping his CF there and MC coming out would give him 1000x more problems than solving anything.
His class would still get shit.

Read up to chapter 64, this is actual garbage. MC yaps about how changing things from the main story could lead to problems in one page, and then actively changes things HIMSELF in the next page, and then the very next second immediately refuses to admit that change is inevitable 😂 like this is some ADHD shit no joke. Weird manga ludonarrative dissonance where he says something, does something else entirely, and then goes on to defend what he initially said regardless of the fact that his own actions and the plot differ from his words! I am worried about the mental health of the writer of this

What i don't get is why he doesn't do shit while the other players are already devianting scenario from it's orignal path ?
From what i see the scenario is already pretty much fucked up so why keep on getting beaten and treated like dirt ?
i get that if he stoud out he'll be targeted but no reason be so passive and insensitive toward his classmates. It feels like he just sees them as npcs who's feelings doesn't matter while he clearly live in the same world as them and use the scenario to turn blind eye on what's happing in front of him. That's just desaponting.
Because japanese prefer

I'm all for world-building and the MC not being the star of the manga as long as he works in the shadows, but goddamn, being this passive even tho the events are being accelerated/changed right in front of him because he doesn't want to stand out and treats the people around him as NPCs is what's irritating me.

Hmm, to make a comparison...think of this story as similar to " I Become Strong In The Other World And In The Real World" or whatever it's called. Bullied fat mc, is a humongous p*ssy despite his strength, most of the students at his school are shallow trash bastards...the real difference being this fat mc's family are all kind people who love and support him. Over all, it's a pretty crappy story.
Yeah but one grow up op just because of isekai, and the other has to grind with his own knowledge while keeping the story og. While The first is truly just a normal op isekai main character, the other has to hide his true power cause there is always those stronger than him. With the risk of both the noble and other players he doesn't know about.

Review with spoilers up to chapter 6. It's trash up to now.

Weak minded MC, he isekaied into the body of a weak ugly and fat guy, but so what? The fat guy owner of the body has a stronger mind than the MC, it's crazy! I will call the owner of the body by "Butao" and the Isekaied guy into his body MC from now on.
MC failed to protect his little sister, Butao intervened and protected her.
Butao even being fat aspired for a beautiful girl. Well she is a bitch that we all want him to break up engagement with but he still had a good vision for looks at least, while MC didn't even think of using it.

Honestly, in MC's place I'd use the fact that she wants to break marriage, to write a new contract stating that he could use her as a "helper (slave)" until the end of academy to dive/explore the dungeons, of course ONLY for dungeon exploration purpose, nothing more, it's a contract/deal that she has to accept in order to break the marriage contract after the academy ends.
With that, she being strong as she is, I'd have the MC use her until the end helping him find all the best hidden pieces, items, etc, and monopolize it for himself, and protect the ones he need to protect, such as his little sister, family, and possible new characters that appears who aren't that bitch he was engaged with.
And of course, after using her until the end, after breaking engagement, would tell her: "I hope we never meet again. Goodbye."
i think you kinda misunderstand the story. The one who can't protect his sister is butao. The one who succeed doing that due to his in game power is MC. And that bitch, well her personality is half trash though, still, MC is not butao, what he want is to be alive and return to his world so that he wouldn't want to break butao life, consider that she is a part of butao life.
And the MC didn't know she want to break the contract. They are not readers like us, even the character only know about the OG story.
He can't help everyone even if he is super op, that's why he has to keep everything on track while leveling up with everyone so that they can help themselves. Any unnecessary action may force the noble to focus on his class. If that happen, the story would be hopeless.
Also, force her on another contract to break the marriage contract, wouldn't that break the og story? Consider that she is one of the main character of the story.

This story feels like reading a fever dream isekai. I genuinely questioned if I was secretly and silently lobotomized while reading this, or the story was that bad. It is that bad

Is this the same as the WN?
In the WN the "contract" is a paper scrap without a shred of magic, nothing more than a scribble left by kids, so the MC and Butao keep it as a childhood memory.

I found myself surprised how much I actually am enjoying this. It's a step up from most of the junk I've seen in the related genres (video game isekai, dungeon hunter, etc). It's definitely frustrating how unfair all of this is and knowing that the main character should be able to fight back but I find the reasoning very compelling as to why he keeps limiting how his power and knowledge get exposed. Yes, the scenario is pretty unlikely to follow whatever ideal routes he knows of, and he does know that.

The problem is that his character, and the people he is choosing to try and protect through all these events, have HUGE risks of being discarded. It cannot be emphasized enough that he is fighting against negative plot armor. If you consider a character like superman, the usual threat to him is actually to target his loved ones. The main character here not only has that risk in spades but his advantages from the previous life are nowhere near as powerful as a superman character.

All that is to say that it's a refreshing take that our MC is actually way more powerful then he should be but at the same time the stakes remain high so long as the author can keep the threats against his friends and family believable. Not to mention that he himself could find himself deleted if he pops up on the wrong person's radar.

More than the mc, the history is just boring, up to chap 30 , nothing happens, he is just there doing nothing, no interaction between him and world, no ambition, no motivation, no objectif, don't talk about him wanting to protect his family or going back home , it is just boring as f*ck

It's just boring, what you may be true , but what's the use if the mc is boring, even the story is boring, there is no notable character, I have nothing against the mc cause I already have my share of thrash mc ( and as mc he is middle) , but man the history is boring, what pain me is that it's has a lot of potential

Risou no himo Seikatsu or Ideal Sponger Life manages to be at least a tad slightly more entertaining despite : having little action scenes, no overpowered MC power fantasy steamrolling anyone, no chuuni dorks thing, Sure that Zenjiro might be isekaied to bang a smoking hot Queen literally in the beginning (aka his Isekai life started in easy mode) but even then he's still nobody. He has to prove himself in the noble lifestyle and political game.

No cheats no game knowledge.

Now perhaps if we look and analyze and compare both story, you might figure out what is it people find issue with. If you put aside the petty preference bashing and mockery, there's quite a legitimate criticism there to be found y'know?
Nah i just think Chuunibiyos don't deserve anything. Their opinions are as worthless as a summer ant
