What i don't get is why he doesn't do shit while the other players are already devianting scenario from it's orignal path ?
From what i see the scenario is already pretty much fucked up so why keep on getting beaten and treated like dirt ?
i get that if he stoud out he'll be targeted but no reason be so passive and insensitive toward his classmates. It feels like he just sees them as npcs who's feelings doesn't matter while he clearly live in the same world as them and use the scenario to turn blind eye on what's happing in front of him. That's just desaponting.

this shit is straight ASS, the story makes no sense, all the characters suddenly feel stupid shit and act all sad, it always feels like i'm missing panels because it's jumping between scenes nonsensically, and finally the translation is fucking horrendous. 3/10 for the art.

Another series that heavily shows the author’s home country’s conformist ideology. They seem to think blending in and avoiding attention is clever and admirable. Hate to say it, but that’s just boring—especially when the environment is filled with injustice, it's infuriating.

Furthermore he tries to justify it because it's the game mc job to confront those injustice. Drives me nuts

If anyone is wondering, the light novel is currently at Volume 5, and you can read it on J-Novel,

There isn't much change. MC is still hiding his power, so no big power reveal in the next few chapters.

50 chapters in and dude's still trying to hide while trying to find the "3rd player". You don't have to be a conformist doormat in the sidelines to do these things. Get strong, work in the shadows instead of backing away and let the "main characters" do all things. No no, if you do that, the "3rd player" can just do as he pleases and fuck things up, and the very thing you want to avoid, which is fucking up the story, will happen.

I was lenient about it in the first 30 chapters because we saw his true powers, but he reverted back into being a passive doormat like an NPC after that. Him being passive is already a big giveaway to whoever he thinks is the 3rd player and is already screwing up the story and that's why he got fucked over because he unnecessarily holds much too much while the "main protagonist" of the game is shining. Imagine being a cuck in your own manga. Screw that.

Don't read the comments from other sites they're absolute dogshit. They think this is a shonen jump manga or solo leveling and want the MC to just bulldoze through everything or have a fight ever other chapter. These people have no idea what normal pacing is. The pacing seems pretty average but anyone who has only read one genre or not many other manga will think it's really slow.

I hear you like it when a story has a protagonist, too bad he's nonexistent here.

MC gets isekaied into the body of an 'undesirable' of a game story and knowing he is completely powerless which realistically speaking I appreciate, he prefers to lay low and "play out the story as intended" while not interfering with the story to observe. Alas the primary focus of the story here is not about the MC at all. If I have to lay it down : 20% about MC's progress if any even exist at all 80% everything else. His effect on the story is very minimal which I guess is desirable for MC but less so for the readers. There's not an ounce of entertainment coming from this at all..

But I suppose if you like "slow average pace" progress to read until you're 70 yr old or if you're average Kanokari fan then this might be for you!

Risou no himo Seikatsu or Ideal Sponger Life manages to be at least a tad slightly more entertaining despite : having little action scenes, no overpowered MC power fantasy steamrolling anyone, no chuuni dorks thing, Sure that Zenjiro might be isekaied to bang a smoking hot Queen literally in the beginning (aka his Isekai life started in easy mode) but even then he's still nobody. He has to prove himself in the noble lifestyle and political game.

No cheats no game knowledge.

Now perhaps if we look and analyze and compare both story, you might figure out what is it people find issue with. If you put aside the petty preference bashing and mockery, there's quite a legitimate criticism there to be found y'know?

I understand the hate, but me personally prefer this way. It just make no sense if MC conveniently be a handsome slender man from an ugly fatso soon after MC takeover his body. FL cares about MC byt because she feels admiration (yeah, not love) toward game MC we feel shit about it because it has NTR vibes, but I do understand clearly why she feels that way. The one I don't understand is why MC being a coward (?). I think there are possibly a few reasons, first MC doesn't want himself to affect the og story too much. Secondly later MC realizes that there's possibly other person/people that got idekai'd alongside him, although this kinda invalidate the first reason as the story would change because of the other reincarnator(s) regardless of his actions.

In conclusion some of you may hate this because a lot of people want to have op and alpha MC, but personally I'm bored of isekai's feel-good and wish-fulfilment type of stories
pretty much this but the reason it feels like NTR is because the main character still cares about the female lead. which is super stupid. also i doesnt really make sense to keep the OG storyline because isnt his character just a side character without any need to support the main group in the OG storyline. so pretty much he should actually be doing anything for the story mc group. but the fact he keeps involving in the mc group is the most frustrating and annoying thing. geez if the author really wanted to write a story that follow the OG storyline whats the point of including the current mc. i admit my mistake on not reading the reviews before started reading the manga feels like i just got my time wasted.

The people in the comments have low reading comprehension skills the mc and supporting cast have been developed very well and giving depth the emotions of all the characters are very realistic as to what "15 yrl olds" who are constantly fighting not to get killed by higher people would be like people complaning just want to read a shitty story where the mc is overpowered and pretty from chapter 1 that gets all the girls this takes it time developing the world and characters is a very good read. The people in the comments needa pick up some books its annoying how loud and wrong they are in the comments!!!!!

Whats with japan and their fetish of being stomped on all the time acting like its honorable? The protagonist is a bystander in his own series watching his apparent loved ones get treated like shit. What a frustrating series

Spoilers be here:

This series honestly could have been so much better if the MC actually did anything..... it honestly gets so draining and boring cause he just barely does anything. What's the point of getting strong if you don't use it. And I get not wanting to change the story because he knows the story lines but bro.... he knows there are other players that have reincarnated with him and one of them is actively trying to mess with the plot lines. And yet he's still trying to go about it like he can keep the story the same.

I disagree, the MC wants to do nothing but the heroines and sometimes the situation deviating from the OG storyline forces him to act. He winning the class competition by himself is an example of that. If he did nothing everyone would have lost but something unexpected happened "Suou summoning a demon" and this he had to stand up and act.
His sister too, because he power leveled her, she also goes out of her own way to help others and even his classmates (Satsuki).
