TBH anyone still defending this series need to remember its being HARD carried by the arts, especially the big ditty ones, kinda obvious

remember, had this arts had subpar, or less desirable qualities, its just gonna be another generic isekai-reincarnation-fantasy-modern-video games-school life plot troupe, like the many of its kinds in the same genre

There's a lot better story plot title in same genre that deserved this kind of art quality from this arty and theres even more that doesnt deserve it too, including this series

The art is beautiful but generic and you guys will realize some element is missing, which obviously you-know-what and makes you realize the artist's art literally shines here which is the reason why this manga gets famous as it is in the first place, this manga have no business looking this good while having subpar, if not trash plot

daaamn I know it's from a game, but they really look generic af. Also between Naofumi (shieldbro) and Hachiman, they really made a staple for the looks of the protagonist in the last time (I would say almost like a decade now hahaha).

MC’s goal is to prevent disastrous “bad end” kinda events and to do it he wouldnt want to put himself in the government agency’s crosshair, thus the pose in next chapter.
Its more obvious in the LN tho and the manga has kinda a bad pacing.
This isnt solo leveling with jesus himself just bruteforce overpower the country , stop reading brainrotted power flex stuff for a second.

Yeah, I'm with the people who think this is a wise move. Because people seem to forget we, so far, have:

• Players (Several, only a few of which are known, some are monsters.)
• Noble Families (Several. Powerful. Rich. Connected.)
• At Least Two National Powers (One of which is a boss.)

And if he doesn't pretend to be weak, all of them will be laser targeted not just on his back, but on his class, his family, any friends he has outside the academy... And then you have prepping for a Disaster on top of that.

...You can be the strongest god-damn guy in the world, but even if they were at their full strength (Which they're not, although this hasn't been mentioned since near the beginning), that's a helluva lot of people who are as strong, stronger, and definitely more connected than him.

He is one person. He has only so much stamina, hence him usually wanting to finish fights quickly, and passing out after each big one.

So yeah, if he dogezas and shrieks and whatnot repeatedly, that's because it's the best course of action right now for one guy vs. The Entire Establishment + The End Of The World.

I don't think the art is good, you haven't seen other illustrations it's just misleading.
Here she looks like the main heroine who's supporting the main character, but it's not happening, so far in the novels she's just being annoying and stuck in the same dilemma of accepting that Souta changed and the stupid marriage contract that she doesn't want to talk about anymore.

Also, the author dragged the prologue for like 3 volumes.
In light novels nowadays, you have to start and finish a subplot in a single volume and end up with a cliffhanger. Like in Volume 4. I guess that the author fixed it now that every sub-arc will end with one volume.

Take a look at volume 1, the author had to insert his fight against volgemut in the final part of the volume and had to finish it on the second volume.

goddamn he keeps playing possum, it's already besides the MC, but the author just forces him to choose to keep on trail, he meets the StuCo prez and he is already different from the main story, so deviating for the plot went already grossly outside the window and at least he offers a place in the StuCo and that would protect class E but he still wants to follow the history, and then another player appears, the blond guy and he's clearly obssesed with the heroine but he helped them and beat the sh!t of some 2nd years in class A!!... but yeah, story is going places not good ones.

The idea of the series is great, there's some good art but damn the author is uncooking like maybe I'm gonna get salmonella if I don't drop this soon hahaha

President thinks that he just needs to put a commoner in a position of power and things will solve by itself but if Narumi accepted he would have to spend his entire school life getting involved in duels against the clubs and nobles just like the MC in the story.
Also, Tsukishima beat those guys to impress Kaoru and make her join him but in the novels Souta reasoning to stop that was that, Tsukishima would get in conflict with several powerfull factions, and they would likely attack Kaoru's family and friends which would get his family in deep shit as a collateral effect.
The thing with the story is that it's real life and Tsukishima is thinking this is game, and he can do whatever he wants. Tsukishima haven't faced any strong NPCs so he's under the impression he can solo everyone but that's not true.

During the duel, The president manages to beat the shit out of Tsukishima until Tsukishima is forced to use his special summon to turn the tables. In other words the president is not even on par with the strongest japanese adventurers and he still managed to break Tsukishima's arm. Imagine if he faced the elites. He was reckless.

also I don't read the novel so the StuCo prez POV hasn't been shared but we know he's by far the strongest in the school as of ch.75 at least and unlike the game his behaviour is vastly different, we already know the story has been changing pretty much since the start, like him being friggin there and he could help them to get stronger, so yeah still calling BS in how the plot is moving at least in the manga
