The gang followed Narumi uninvited to the meeting to complain about the 2nd sword club’s behavior since they figured out the culprits behind this beating. The gang (ex-Narumi) and the pres had some exchange on how the school could and should’ve been. The pres, tired of their uninvited guests, pressured them with his killing intent and chased them away, leaving only Narumi whom they called for this meeting.

They cut a few characters and sequences from his noble mansion visit a few chapters ago too, but you won't miss much.

I can't tell is its too many side characters, the mid translation (like what was with page 10 of last chapter) or that the artist has no idea how to do a page separation so there's no sense of transition into a new scene. That is why i read every new chapter upload, i have these feelings that the art is wasted on this series/manga, there have been plenty good one that lost or didnt get good artist quality, heck even Otomega Isekai artist is leaving and swapped to different artist soon, they could had used these kinds of art and quality, its so refined

just let it sink to you, had this manga/series have worse or generic quality art, it would had been your everyday trash,garbaage reincarnation/isekai manga that you have followed on your list but not invested too deep into it, or prob unfollow following the plotline like this one, spreads too many side char and not enough MC screentime it feels like MC isnt the MC of his own manga

It's because there are like 12 plotlines going on at the same time and the author expects you to remember every single one and all the characters involved in them, even though most of them are generic as hell.

The story is really cool when you get MC actively doing stuff, dungeon diving, fighting strong foes and overall growing, but for some reason the author decided we only get to see that once every 50 chapters and everything else is this mindnumbing high school politics shit between a million variations of the same "smug noble who thinks commoners are shit" archetype and the classmates (who mostly eat shit because they are understandably green as fuck). All while MC either does nothing or is only proactive in humilliating himself to hide his powerlevel.

It's hard to give a fuck about all of this stuff when not even the fucking protagonist seems to care.

It’s pretty complicated in the LN too. All that’s there are the names and sometime they switch between using their first and last names. In manga they have the benefit of pictures with faces, so it’s easier.

In summary:

MC’s faction: himself and his family. Their goal is getting strong enough to not die to one of the OG plot’s endings. Gluttony Debuff. Secondary subgoal: ensure the hero party doesn’t stray too far from the plot and into a bad end.

MC’s friends?:

• Tenma AKIRA(the onion knight). Goal is slimming down/curse removal. Business/Manufactoring faction. (Hence the high quality armor)
• Kuga Kotone: Spy from America. Goal is stealing Japan’s(or MC’s) exclusive skills to take back to America. Willing to work with MC for that.

Player factions:

• Nitta Risa: Lust debuff. Team and friend with Oomiya Satsuki. Allies with MC for survival? (MC better than Takuya)

• Sera Kikuyo: Clairvoyance ability. Does her own thing. she will later be endorsed by the holy woman faction.

To be honest, all these side talks feels useless to read since I’m just going to forget about it while the main character of the game get beaten up while the main character hides his power.

This is it. The real problem isn't even the million pissants the author expects you to keep track of, its that there's a dozen subplots battling for attention and the main plot is given exactly as much time as Classmate Rando Q Fuckballs' journey of self discovery, so everything just draaaaaags. Every single chapter needs to deal with at least three different plots and ends up doing nothing satisfying by the end.

Also, Jesus Christ, STOP MAKING MCS THAT SPEND MOST OF THEIR TIME DOING A HUMILIATION RITUAL FOR PLOT PURPOSES, THIS SHIT IS INTOLERABLE!!!!!
