Thanks for the update

The issue of the MC he is currently in the is very thing i questioned when this manga started, why he did not power level or speed run content but hid his strength if he didn't want to ruin the story. Like for real he started power levelling right when things started to fall apart as if he didn't know it would happen with the clear discrimination in the school that he should have known since he played the damn game.... Well anyways, i do get that there wont be any story to tell if he just one punch man his way through this story.... but damn you just can not question why only train now.

I got confused why it's suddenly Volume 9 but then saw Vol6 having too many chapters, so Genz Toons mislabeled the chapters with the wrong volume numbers.

Vol 6 has Chapters 44-53
Vol 7 has Ch 54-62
Vol 8 has Ch 63-72
Vol 9 has Ch 73-82

It's been 3 months since the start of the story, based on the novel; Souta took ~2 weeks to reach level 7. Then, another 2-ish weeks to power level Kano to level 7. Along the way, he reached level 8.

After the Kariya duel event, (which takes place 1 month after the start of school) he begun to raid the dlc area on the 7th floor with Kano. A few days after that, he defeated Volgemurt and both siblings reached level 19.

Because Souta is still a student, he has to keep up his attendance; he doesn't want to ditch school cause he want's to keep track of the story. Also, he still goes home at dusk; so that's like what, ~6 hours of grinding on the weekdays?
It's during the 2nd month that he makes contact with Risa and begins to divide his time between leveling his parents, and leveling Risa & Satsuki. He also occasionally raids the 15th floor dlc area with Kano, where they reach level 20.

His parents reach level 13 around the end of the 2nd month, same time as the class competition is taking place. (class competition lasted a week) He fights the lesser demon, meets Arthur, this post is getting too long.

Leveling beyond level 20 is much more efficient with a party, how big of a party? I don't know.
But Tsukishima was putting together a team of 4 to tackle the dungeon, so yeah.

Ok can someone clarify for me, I don’t know if I’m understanding it correctly. So does Narumi Souta know Arthur and Nitta Risa from his OG world (not from the game world)? And is Oomiya Satsuki a friend from the game world so she’s technically not a “real” person? Or does he not know them, but they are all from the OG world (not the game world)?

The current Narumi Souta is a fusion of 2 personalities:
Butao (the original Narumi Souta, a character from the game world) and
"Disaster" (A player from the OG world)

"Disaster" technically knows Arthur and Risa, (they are all well known players in the video game) but the series seems to imply that their relationship is pretty much just killing each other on sight.

Oomiya Satsuki is just a character from the game world.
Is she (and by extension, Butao) 'real' real people?
The manga has a somewhat interesting (personal opinion) take on that, it will be shown in a later chapter.
The novel just says that everything's real, because "Disaster" can recall Butao's memories and emotions for his surroundings.

Got it, so Disaster knows Arthur and Risa because they are players from this game in the OG world, thanks for explaining it to me, I understand stand it much better now 🙏

No, it's not. So many bs potholes, awful MC, terrible pacing.
Even this chapter. These are real people, not NPCs, why would Arthur defend the enemy?
Just here to give some food for thought regarding Tsukishima.

Think about it in this way, you get transported into the a game world where everything is moving according to the events of the game.

You know what's gonna happen, the npc's speak the exact same lines they did in the game, their backstories and personalities are no different.

Sure, outside of the scripted events; you can interact with them and they respond in a humane and lifelike way unlike their game counterparts repeated scripts, but how do you prove that the people and the world around you are real and not simply the work of an incredibly advanced game engine paired with equally advanced AI?

Look at skyrim ai mods, how do think a skyrim player would react if they one day woke up on a real horse-drawn wagon next to a realistic looking Ulfric Stormcloak?

As readers, we get to have a bird's eye view on everything. We even got to see Oomiya's inner thoughts in this chapter. Tsukishima doesn't.

This post is turning too long, I'm reading too much into fictional characters, sorry about this.
