But at the same time it raise the stakes, if done properly it could make things interesting. Like imagine two factions facing eachother: a pro-Hero faction and a anti-Hero faction. And MC getting caught in the middle of the two,

I hate it when isekais have “other players” as well. It goes from being all fun to some stupid rants about story not being the same, items not appearing where it should, etc.
Yeah, I also hate it when that happens. It has happened to some of my favorites too. For example, Gacha Girl Corps was good... until another dude came and kept getting in the way and stealing the MC's stuff.

I think the guy in this series is probably that one teacher who saw him in school. He kept appearing afterall. I hope there aren't though... since having others just make the series turn to shit.

For gacha girl corp

The other guy has appeared like only 3 times. It’s not like he is in every chapter.

Forget about the additional "Players". What gets me the most, here, is the sociological aspects of the worldbuilding.

I mean, I understand it's a game, but really. When you have the top-rated school in the nation basically being an incubator for ass holes to make them into even bigger ass holes - and worse, ass holes with actual, temporal power, then it means that the rest of their society is that way as well.

But I haven't seen any signs of it, and the MC hasn't made any comments about it.

Keep in mind, here, that this is the best school in their nation. And the people who graduate at the top of the class from this place supposedly go on to even bigger things. So even if this is the only school where this kind of thing is tolerated, it's still where the people who can decide the direction of society go to for their education. It's not a small thing.
