Website not updating

[CCJX]

I have no idea if this is a browser problem (other tabs have no such issue) but my mangadex progress isn't saved when I close the browser. I could be on chapter 1 and read until chapter 35,then when I restart my Pc or close and reopen my browser, my progress gets sent back to chapter 1. I'm fairly sure it is still marked as read, so what seems to be the problem and does anyone have a solution?

Forgot to mention progress is only saved across close and resets when I refresh the tab, then it won't be wiped. Quite annoying honestly
